UPDATE-CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:
The NEW total we have collected is $101,996.77 for the Capital Campaign. We continue to work towards our goal of $200, 000. Thank you for your generous donations and continued support to our Church.
CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE:
A celebration of marriage will be held by our diocese on September 11, 2022 at St. Elias Church in Pittsburgh for all parishioners who will be celebrating their wedding anniversary of 10, 25, 35,40,45,50 or additional years that are a multiple of 5 years during 2022. Please notify Fr. Michael or Paula Slemons by July 29, 2022 so that your names can be submitted to the diocese.
BLESSING OF THE CARS:
Father Michael will be blessings cars after each liturgy this weekend for Elijah the Prophet
HELPING HANDS:
On August 6th, we will be at the cemetery to clean up the grounds, also at 9:30 am. If inclement weather, then the date will be August 13th. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!!!!!!
Refreshments will be available. All parishioners are welcomed!

Our devout and long-time parishioner Margaret Sekerak. passed away and services were held this past week. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to Marge’s family and friends. Blessed repose to his servant Margaret.
FUNDRAISER:
Maryna is baking and selling homemade nut kolachi for $15.00 each as a fundraiser for the Ukraine. Order forms are on the vestibule table and can be returned to the collection basket or by calling the rectory.
PILGRIMAGE:
Archbishop William C. Skurla will be the main celebrant for the Dormition
Vigil Divine Liturgy on Sunday, August 14th @ 7:00 pm at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 North Lipkey Road, North Jackson. The 57th Annual Assumption Pilgrimage will be August 13-15th.
SANCTUARY CANDLES:
The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intention. For the week of July 24-30 there are no requests for the sanctuary candles.
