UPDATE-CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:
The NEW total collected is $141,363.90 for the Capital campaign. We continue to work towards our goal of $200,000. Thank you for your continued generosity and support to our church.
SANCTUARY CANDLE REQUEST:
The sanctuary candle request sheet for 2025 is on the back table in the church. Cost remains $10 per candle. Please call Paula @ (330) 799-5983 for ALL requests. Money can be deposited in the weekend collection.
LITURGICAL REQUESTS:
Liturgical request for 2025 are now being taken. Please call Paula @ (330)799-5983 for specific dates.
ECF CLASSES:
ECF classes for all school-aged children (pre-school-high school) will begin Sunday, September 28th. Classes are held @ Infant Jesus of Prague. Pre-school-1st grade will be during liturgy in the cry room. Second grade and up will be following 9:00 am liturgy @ 10:30 am. Teachers are Christine Bero, Mary Sinowski and Elena Slemons. May God bless our teachers and students as we begin the new ECF year!
REVERSE RAFFLE:
St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Campbell is having their annual Reverse raffle on Saturday, October 4th at their church hall. Grand prize is $2500 along with other prizes, games and chances to win. Ticket numbers 1-200 are being sold at $100 per ticket ($150 with guest) which includes entry into the raffle, appetizers, dinner and open bar. Call 330-755-4831 for your ticket. Appetizers begin @5:00 pm followed by dinner & the raffle starts @7:00pm.
PURSE BINGO:
St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage is hosting a Purse Bingo on Saturday, September 27th, doors open @ 5:00 pm and bingo starts @ 6:00 pm. Admission is $30 (18years and up). Call Megan @ 724-699-0613 or Donna @724-877-6736 for reservations.

Thank you to all parishioners, families, friends and the Byzantine Social Club for making the corn roast such a success. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to close the summer season. Please watch the bulletin for information on the upcoming Christmas Party on December 14th @ the Grove.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:
Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week. For the week of September 14-20, 2025, the right and left sanctuary candles are in memory of +John & +Carmella Horvat from Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Migletz.
Let us not be ashamed to confess the Crucified. Let the Cross be our seal, made with boldness by our fingers on our brow, and on everything; over the bread we eat, and the cups we drink; in our comings in, and goings out; before we sleep, and when we rise up; when we are on the road, and when we are still. Great is that preservative; it is without price… it is the Sign of the faithful, and the dread of devils: for He triumphed over them in it, having made a show of them openly for when they see the Cross they are reminded of the Crucified; they are afraid of Him, who bruised the head of the serpent.
