UPDATE-CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:

The NEW total collected is $141,363.90 for the Capital campaign. We continue to work towards our goal of $200,000. Thank you for your continued generosity and support to our church.

SANCTUARY CANDLE REQUEST:

The sanctuary candle request sheet for 2025 is on the back table in the church. Cost remains $10 per candle. Please call Paula @ (330) 799-5983 for ALL requests. Money can be deposited in the weekend collection.  

LITURGICAL REQUESTS:

Liturgical request for 2025 are now being taken. Please call Paula @ (330)799-5983 for specific dates.

PILGRIM VOCATION ICON PROGRAM:

Every parish has received an icon specially written for this program- “The Call of the Disciples.” Those who accept the icon agree to pray daily during that time for religious and priestly vocations. Every member of the parish is invited to have icon in their home for a week of special prayer for vocations. Prayer booklets are provided. Please see the sign-up sheet in the vestibule. Please see Fr. Michael for further information.

CHRISTMAS PARSIH PARTY:

All parishioners are invited to our parish Christmas party on December 14th @ 12:30 pm at Byzantine at the Grove. Menu is the following: Chicken Milanese, baked white fish, roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans almandine, mixed green salad, dessert, and beverages. Cost is $25 per person. $10 for children 12 and under.  There will be a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction. If you would like to donate a basket for the raffle, please call Paula @ (330) 799-5983. Please make checks payable to the Byzantine Social Club.  Payment can be deposited in the collection basket-please mark envelope Christmas party. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table. Deadline to sign up is November 23rd. We hope all parishioners and families can attend and enjoy an afternoon to

celebrate the Christmas season.

ST. NICHOLAS CELEBRATION:

All parishioners are invited to the 68th Annual St. Nicholas celebration on December 7th @ 3:30 pm at the Cathedral in Pittsburgh benefitting the Byzantine Seminary. Cost is $45/adult, $20 for children 12 and under. Deadline to sign-up is November 17th. Please see Fr. Michael for more details.

CONDOLENCES:

Our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of Dorothy Kotyuha who passed away on October 18th.  Private Funeral Service was held past week. Blessed repose to his servant +Dorothy.

WINE TASTING & RAFFLE:

There will be a Wine Tasting & Raffle Dance to benefit Autism on November 8th from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm at St Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Rd. in Youngstown. Music by Jim Gill. Cost: $30/ person, $60/couple. Reservations are not needed but you would like to reserve a ticket, please call Terry Bogan @ (330)718-0409.

RAFFLE:

We are selling raffle tickets to benefit the Byzantine Seminary in Pittsburgh. Cost is $10/ ticket. Winning numbers are taken from the PA Daily 3-digit number. Prize is $250 for numbers picked on December 8&9, and $1,500 for December 10th. Please see Fr. Michael for tickets.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week. For the week of November 2-8, 2025, the left and right sanctuary candles are in memory of +John & +Anna Biros from son John Biros.
